    Delegates Shott, Gearheart and Ellington moves to amend the bill on page 8, section 3, on line 23, after the word “authorized” by striking out the period and inserting in lieu thereof a comma, and the words “with the following amendment:

On page 1, subparagraph 2.3, after the following: “efforts.” by striking the remainder of the subparagraph and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

If the preliminary projected costs per inmate day indicates that a reduction can be implemented without jeopardizing the ability to implement a fiscally sound annual operating budget for the next fiscal years operating budget, the RJA Board shall implement an appropriate reduction in the rate charged per inmate day during the next fiscal year. ”
